The flight arrives in London with a delay of about 10 mins. Apparently it was not given permission to land due to ATC clearance. Finally after that time pased our BA 118 makes it's arrival on the Heathrow Tarmac. As we walk out the massive Airport scores and scores of flights are lined up.

London from the window appeared so orderly and organized and that's what makes the difference. No wonder it's one of the most organized cities in the world
After we are dropped off by the shuttle we begin to feel the massive Airport. The airport is very strict in it's rules.
One of the senior security members in the Airport bears a striking resemblance to a friend of mine back home. It almost left me dumbfounded as though it could be him.
Exercising his authority he begins to check every bag extensively. A man with baby food appears worried but he smiles when he is assured all his things would be given back to him. We aren't spared the monotonous checking either. Our own Bluetooth speaker was suspected to be something until it was given the green signal.

After all is cleared we head over to the shops that line the airport. As hunger pangs increase we catch up on some light meal. We get a moment of tension as Mom leaves the line. As time to catch the connecting flight to Toronto draws near tension builds we manage to regroup just in time and get on the flight
A noteworthy mark the diary would like state was presence of immense amount of static friction felt all over the London Airport which he felt, the railings of the escalator, certain door handles etc.
The diary also had a brief moment of going away from family until all was fine. The best part of the airport was the presence of a metro right inside which will take you from the security point to the terminal where the flight takes off. One of the diary`s parent gets left behind and waits for the next train to make it. We all luckily make it in time and are on our way to the flight to Toronto
